“The tournament will be a limited field event but they have not announced the prize money.
“The other tournament will come on September 28 in the second year of the ‘FBC Invitational’ tourney to be held at Royal Harare as well.
“The professionals will return to action again on October 5 and 6 in Hwange Open at the Colliery.
“The dates may change as we are still to sit down with the sponsors for the 36-holes event, which is a regular on the calendar.
“This year’s edition of the Joshua Nkomo Memorial will be sponsored to the tune of US$25 000 and will be staged at Bulawayo Golf Club.
“Last year the event was held at Royal Harare in the capital and for a change it will return to the venue where it was regularly hosted.
“The Golden Pilsener Harare Open will close the season on November 8-10.
“The tournament will be a 54-hole event and will be staged at Chapman with a total purse of US$25 000,” Gwatiringa said.
Meanwhile, Ryan Cairns has taken the Order of Merit by storm after his Lowveld pro-am win.
Cairns now leads the pack after his performance that saw him pocketing US$7 215.
