THE 21st Zanu PF Annual People’s Conference officially commenced today, bringing together over 100 affiliate organisations to showcase solidarity and unity among party members.
Marked by a vibrant atmosphere, the event featured delegates greeting each other and participating in energetic songs as provinces declared their presence.
Zanu PF Secretary General Dr Obert Mpofu took to the podium to address the delegates, recognising the Presidium and their families while outlining the regulations that govern the conduct of the conference. He declared the gathering duly convened, emphasising the main purpose: to receive and consider the reports and resolutions of the Central Committee.

The conference atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm as provinces expressed their support for President Emmerson Mnangagwa, with the slogan affirming that he will continue to lead the party until 2030 resonating throughout the venue. This declaration of loyalty underscores the party’s commitment to continuity in leadership as it navigates national challenges.
Dr Mpofu conducted a roll call, inviting each province to the podium to announce its presence, further fostering a sense of unity and collaboration among the attendees. The conference is set to address crucial issues facing the nation, building on the momentum generated by the enthusiastic participation of party members and affiliate organisations.
As the conference progresses, delegates are expected to engage in discussions that will shape the party’s strategies and policies moving forward, reinforcing Zanu PF’s vision for national development and stability.
