ZANU PF Harare Province convened a Provincial Coordinating Committee (PCC) meeting on Tuesday at the Dzokerai Mabhunu Great Hall to update party members on how commitments made during the recently held Provincial Inter-District meetings are set to be implemented.

The party’s provincial leadership held inter-district meetings in all the six zones in Harare to give feedback from the ZANU PF Annual People’s Conference held in Mutare in October and introduce the newly co-opted Central Committee members.

During the inter-district meetings, a number of pledges were made to transform communities in Harare, among them the construction of clinics, a revolving fund for all party structures, and the drilling of solar-powered boreholes, among others.

Addressing the PCC meeting, Zanu PF Harare provincial chairman Cde Godwills Masimirembwa paid tribute to President Mnangagwa for his all-inclusive developmental philosophy that leaves no one and no place behind—a philosophy that continues to transform communities across the nation.

“The commitments made during the recently held Harare Provincial Inter-District meetings have now moved from pronouncement to full implementation effectively demystifying and dismantling false narratives being spread on social media claiming that the promises were mere rhetoric.

“Zanu PF delivers and the people of Harare Province will witness tangible progress as pledged,” said Cde Masimirembwa.

He extended heartfelt appreciation to the newly co-opted Central Committee member Dr Kudakwashe Tagwirei and his wife, whose Bridging Gaps Foundation continues to demonstrate transformative partnership and unwavering dedication to uplifting livelihoods across Zimbabwe.

Zanu PF Politburo member Cde Omega Hungwe said all the pledges made during the inter-district meeting should be delivered to the intended beneficiaries.

“We do not expect the party leadership to cause discord within its rank and file.

“We should work together as a team. We should be a united front.

“We should embrace everyone and bring everyone on board instead of blocking others from participating in party structures due to our personal differences,” said Cde Hungwe.

Zanu PF Secretary for Education, Research and Ideology Cde Charles Tavengwa hailed the organisational capacity of the province during the inter-district meetings.

“We should implement all the commitments made during inter-district meetings and ensure the pledges reach the intended beneficiaries,” said Cde Tavengwa.

He implored party structures to help in the fight against drug and substance abuse.
