Zanu-PF is forever

Even the most condescending skeptics could not complain but marvel at the way in which the Zanu- PF jaguarnut went about executing its political business in the past week. The figures were awesome and astounding, confounding all doubting Thomases, in the process making them believe that indeed Zanu PF is the only people’s choice in the Zimbabwean political landscape as evidenced by the huge numbers that voted for it in the Mbire, Epworth and Marondera by-elections.

The elections were necessitated in Mbire and Marondera after the respective members of parliament in the said constituencies were expelled from the august house as there were part and parcel of the Mujuru putschist cabal whose activities were nefarious to those of the party and government. In Epworth elections were done after the death of Amos Midzi.

Indeed, it was good riddance to extremely bad rubbish for their activities had come to border on mercenary tendencies and treasonous behaviour motivated by unbridled ambition. Zanu PF has one centre of power, the popularly elected dear leader, President Mugabe who appoints his own lieutenants at his pleasure. Anyone who disregards the direction and policy matters as pronounced by the sole centre of power, being President Mugabe, has no space in the revolutionary party, Zanu PF. Those who choose to leave the revolutionary path in pursuit of the greenback from the white men are free to do so and will succumb to their inevitable doom and gloom.

The newly elected Member of Parliament for Epworth, Zalera Makari, who was overwhelmingly endorsed by the electorate in the constituency by receiving 10509 votes, has a great vision for that area.

Makari intends to overhaul the face and shape of Epworth by initiating developmental projects such as creating a centre for the youths and ensuring that the populace which resides there attains title deeds for their property. Further, the death trap which has for long been hanging on the neck of Epworth residents ,the Quarry dam, that has swallowed precious life will be a thing of the past as Makari intends to erect a huge fence to deter any suicide ideation and other unfortunate accidents.

This kind of approach is what the heavens have been searching for in the implementation of the Zimbabwe Agenda for Sustainable Socio-Economic Transformation (Zim Asset). The people are clamouring for that aggressive approach to developmental issues, which then necessitates a total paradigm shift to the way economic issues and livelihoods of the populace is handled.

With the impressive history of the revolutionary part in developmental matters, Epworth is headed for greater heights in terms of development. One would point out that with the enthusiasm and zeal exhibited by the electorate in the concluded by-election, Zanu PF will garner even gigantic figures in the future. Surely, the sprawling suburb of Epworth will never be the same.

The Mbire constituency, located in the Mashonaland Central province, saw Zanu PF romping to victory with an unassailable margin of 11635 votes that left those contesting with distant margins, showing that indeed the revolutionary party is the party of the future. As Zanu PF is the only party in the country that brought independence, it is the party which will chart the future of the nation.

The constituency had a dubious character, David Butau, who wined and dined with the Mujuru cabal, hence he was booted out by the party since his actions were contrary to the expectations of the party. The new legislator, Douglas Karoro understands the people’s expectations and has promised to turn a new leaf for the area with developmental initiatives that will send tremors to pretentious political parties such as the Movement for Democratic Change that is led by the perennial loser ,Morgan Tsvangirai.

The charismatic Lawrence Katsiru won resoundingly in the urban centre constituency of Marondera where the ruling party, Zanu PF amassed 8978 votes. The party has dismantled a myth and proved one important point in the urban areas that were hitherto perceived as Movement for Democratic Change strongholds. The revolutionary party has hunted so well that the 2018 harmonised elections will result in it grabbing the few urban seats which the MDC currently has.

That the MDC is no longer relevant politically has never in doubt as witnessed by the few or at times no turnout of the people at its called rallies, especially in the urban areas. As for the rural areas of Zimbabwe, the MDC symbolizes the brutal white men who tortured and killed millions of black people during the liberation struggle.
As such, it has never been accepted by the rural folk, a scenario that has since been embraced by urbanites. It is a matter of fact that the MDC is a creation of the white men. The British and their American poodles founded and funded that party, with the evil intention of effecting an ill-fated regime change project.

One should also remember that Katsiru has a firm background in the Apostolic church that experienced the torture of the white men during the colonial era, leading to some of their leaders being arbitrarily detained without charges, a scenario which makes their huge followers detest the politics of treachery so prevalent in the MDC. The leader of the MDC-T, Morgan Tsvangirai, is now a globally acclaimed traitor, even posthumously envied by the likes of the equally infamous traitor Moise Tshombe, a Democratic Republic of Congo national who quivered on any instructions from any white person, adult or child alike. Now Zimbabweans being the most literate on the continent will never stoop so low as to vote for such charade characters as Tsvangirai and his fellow stooges.

Finally, the chickens have come to roost, especially with the National Constitutional Assembly spokesperson Maddock Chivas accepting that Zanu PF has always been the popular party in Zimbabwe’s political landscape. Chivasa also rightfully observed that democracy is inextricably woven into the tapestry of Zimbabwe’s political fabric.
Yes, Chivasa had a short stint at the University of Zimbabwe prior to his expulsion due to a plethora of misdeanours, some of which bordered on his irrationality after one too many doses of the wise waters. Chivasa simply loves his beer. But my point is on how he has rightfully educated one of UZ‘s former students, Obert Gutu whose continuous media bluffs have now exposed his party, the MDC, as a Western creation whose thrust is to unleash eternal economic suffering to the Zimbabwean populace.

The likes of Gutu had thought that by continuously urging their funders, the West, to turn the screws on the economy, Zimbabweans would revolt against Zanu PF.
The people have seen through these cruel shenanigans and have continued to support the party. It is indeed true, after the resounding victories in the by-elections and the firm support that Zanu PF has across the nation, that it’s indeed a party for eternity for Zimbabweans.
