Zanu-PF losing candidate calls for unity

ZANU-PF primary elections losing candidate Cde Spare Sithole said those that lost the elections should work with the winners in campaigning for the party. Cde Sithole, who narrowly lost the race for Insiza South Constituency to former Radio 2 DJ Cde Malaki Nkomo said losers should work with those that won the ticket to represent the party.
He said this after donating 100 day-old chicks and eight bags of chicken feed to youths in Ward 12 in Avoca.

“Today, I was giving chicks to youths so that they start self-help projects. These projects are meant to empower the people in line with the Zanu-PF policies,” said Cde Sithole, who runs a security company business in Filabusi.

Cde Sithole, who is also the party’s Matabeleland South provincial secretary for disabled and disadvantaged, challenged other businesspeople to plough back to communities.

“We should not wait for donors from other countries but should take the initiative to empower the people as local businesspeople,” he said.
Accepting the donation, Ward 12 Zanu-PF youths chairman Cde Mqondisi Siziba said the youths would put the donation to good use. “We have another poultry project that is doing very well,” said Cde Siziba.
