Zanu-PF national conference preps begin

December.
“The conference preparations started on Thursday and we had a co-ordinating committee meeting,” he said.
“We are being hosted by the Midlands province this year and the event will be held at the beginning of December.
“Everything is in place and we hope to work together with other provinces to make this conference a success.”
Cde Khaya Moyo chairs the co-ordinating committee for the conference.
The conference was held in Bulawayo last year under the theme: “Defend National Sovereignty, consolidate indigenisation and economic empowerment”.
The revolutionary party is yet to come up with a theme for this year’s conference.
Meanwhile, Cde Khaya Moyo has dismissed as “uninformed” media reports that the Zanu-PF provincial chairpersons who went to China this week had gone for military lectures.
The chairpersons, led by Matabeleland North Governor and acting Zanu-PF chairperson for the province Cde Thokozile Mathuthu, went for a two-week familiarisation tour.
“It’s mischievous and uninformed for one to say the delegation went to be trained in violence and thuggery,” he said.
