The ruling party, Zanu PF, in Mashonaland West has started sharing the 2025 National Conference Resolutions with local stractures, with district leaders attending the inter-district conference last weekend.

The inter-district committees met at their respective six centres to get feedback from the party leadership on the 2025 National Conference.

They strongly supported extending President Mnangagwa’s term, which was also the party’s first resolution.

In Makonde, members of the committee gathered in Chinhoyi this Sunday, where Zanu PF Provincial chairman, Cde Mary Mliswa-Chikoka, and Central Committee member, Senator Prisca Mupfumira addressed the members.

Cde Mliswa-Chikoka urged district leaders to share the resolutions with grassroots party members and Government officials.

She said the ruling party was prepared to pursue the legal process to extend President Mnangagwa’s term until 2030.

“We have held feedback meetings across all six districts, and we have asked the party leaders in these districts to share the resolutions widely,” she explained.

“The People’s National Conference was attended only by provincial and senior members, while district committees were represented by chairmen and political commissars.

“The district leaders we invited are responsible for ensuring everyone is informed about the resolutions.”

She also called for unity and discipline within the party as Zanu PF continues to inspire the nation.

The Makonde inter-district includes the Makonde, Mhangura and Chinhoyi Constituencies.

Cde Mliswa-Chikoka also officiated the Sanyati inter-district meeting held at Rimuka hall in Kadoma on Saturday.

The provincial leaders expressed hopes for better coordination between the party and government to promote development and realise Vision 2030.
