The Zanu PF Youth League has vowed to thwart any demonstrations intended to destabilise the prevailing peace in the country.

This was revealed during the Youth Fund Launch in Harare where President Mnangagwa is the special guest.

The ruling party’s Deputy Secretary for Youth Affairs, Cde John Paradza said the youths will not fold their hands in the face of social media threats meant to cause mayhem in the nation.

“Your Excellency, no demonstration will take place. We will not be swayed and frightened by social media threats.

“It is our duty to defend the President and the ruling party,” he said.
