The party leadership, led by President Mnangagwa passionately addressed the crowd and left no doubt about their commitment to harnessing the country’s resources for development.
Much to the excitement of the conference delegates, party officials outlined a comprehensive plan to guide Zimbabwe’s journey towards lasting progress, with the underlining factor being that of development through the Masimba kuvanhu/amandla ebantwini mantra.

Grounded in the principles of self-sufficiency, the party aims to tap into Zimbabwe’s vast resources and leverage them for the betterment of all citizens.
The conference served as a platform for party members, Government officials, and industry leaders to exchange ideas and strategies. During the conference delegates separated into specific thematic committees that delved into various sectors, including agriculture, mining, manufacturing, and tourism, to explore innovative ways to bolster these industries and attract investments.
The emphasis on utilising available resources — through the philosophy ilizwe lakhiwa ngabaninilo/ Nyika inovakwa nevene vayo, showcased the party’s determination to foster economic growth from within. Amid the camaraderie and spirited discussions, the conference also provided an opportunity to further buttress the party’s popularity and role in setting the vision for the growth of the nation.
“I call upon each of us to go back to our respective provinces and districts and fully brief our people on the development-oriented resolutions that have come out of this conference. All of us in the party, Government and nation have a duty to diligently work harder for the success of our nation and the realisation of Vision 2030.
“Collectively, as descendents of the Great Emperor Munhumutapa, from Zambezi to Limpopo and Plumtree to Mutare, let us continue to build, modernise and industrialise our motherland, Zimbabwe brick by brick and stone upon stone. Zimbabwe is our only home, let us serve our Party and our country whole-heartedly, Ropa neziya redu richawanikwa pamureza weZimbabwe,” said the President as he concluded the conference yesterday.
