ZCN 2023 awards date set

THE third edition of the Zim Community News (ZCN) awards will be held at the Harare International Conference Centre on January 27.

In a press statement, ZCN said the awards are a recurring event that bring the Zimbabwean community together for mutual benefit.

“The awards will make you happy through celebrations and smarter through education. We are celebrating Zimbabwe’s success in our diversity,” said ZCN Awards marketing officer, Norah Sitotombe.

She said the event shall reflect and drive the objective of empowering communities through solutions-based journalism.

“By Zimbabwean community, we also include the millions of Zimbabweans who are scattered around the globe.

“We shall also honour church leaders. In all acts of initiative and creation, it is the unique experience that will become memorable for those who participate in it,” she said.

Some of the big names set to grace the event are football legends, Peter and his older brother, Madinda Ndlovu, Winky D, Janet Manyowa, Minister Michael Mahendere, Madam Boss, Charles Mabika and H-Metro Editor, Robson Sharuko.
