ZDF instructors graduate

ONE HUNDRED-AND-TEN instructors from the Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) and the Air Force of Zimbabwe (AFZ) graduated at a joint pass-out parade held at Jason Ziyaphapha Moyo Air Force Base in Chegutu.

The event celebrated the completion of training in ceremonials, weapons and squad drills instruction.

Among the graduates, 53 participated in Squad Drill Course Number 33/25, another 35 completed Ceremonial Instruction Course Number 17/25 and 22 were part of Weapons Drill Course Number 27/25

Chief of Staff (Operations) Air Vice Marshal Biltim Chingono served as the reviewing officer for the parade, where high-performing participants received individual accolades.

AVM Chingono said the courses sought to develop efficient commanders among junior and senior non-commissioned members, reaffirming the AFZ’s commitment to safeguarding the country’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

The pass-out parade was attended by Air Commodore Ellen Chiweshe, the JZ Moyo Airbase Commander, members of the Mashonaland West Provincial Joint Operations Command (JOC) and other senior officials, highlighting the importance of this milestone in enhancing the capabilities of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces.
