ZETDC sues city council

2009 to August 2010.
ZETDC in its application is seeking the court to grant an order to attach council property. In the application ZETDC, represented by Muza and Nyapadi Legal Practitioners, submitted that Harare City Council has a contractual obligation to pay for power supplied on a monthly basis.

It submitted that the local authority was in breach of the agreement in that they have not been paying for electricity charges accrued. “Despite demand, the defendant has either failed, neglected or refused to pay the outstanding sum,” ZETDC submitted. Harare Municipality is yet to respond to the lawsuit. – CR.
