THE Warriors may be off the pitch, but the game is on behind the scenes!

A top-level ZIFA delegation, led by President Nqobile Magwizi, has touched down in South Africa for a two-day football brain exchange with the South African Football Association (SAFA).

The mission? To soak up winning strategies from Mzansi’s football authorities and give Zimbabwean football the reboot it desperately needs.

Magwizi is flanked by ZIFA Executive Committee members Alice Zeure and Kudzai Kadzombe, alongside the association’s CEO Yvonne Manwa.

“This visit is about learning, growing, and building strategic relationships that will move our football forward,” said Magwizi.

The info exchange will tackle Governance, HR, IT, Competitions, and Commercialisation—key pillars ZIFA hopes to strengthen as part of a bold new vision for the beautiful game in Zimbabwe.

“We’re committed to creating a more professional, efficient, and commercially viable football ecosystem,” said ZIFA in a statement.

With ZIFA still rebuilding trust and structure after years of drama and disarray, this SAFA sit-down could be the playmaker the association needs to score big on reform.

Whether it’s strategy or sponsorship secrets, Team ZIFA is on a mission to bring home the blueprint for change!
