ZiFM launch today

as it will offer online services.

AB communications chief executive Mr Supa Mandiwanzira said broadcasting in Zimbabwe would never be the same.
AB Communications is the parent company for ZiFM.

“We want to give Zimbabweans in the Diaspora a chance to listen to Zimbabwean radio and we will be online for free.
“We will also reach out to other regional countries with the use of decoders and we hope the station will bring us closer to our African brothers,” he said.

He said ZiFM would be operating on Arab satellite, which Mr Mandiwanzira claimed will make their frequency the best.
“We are only going for the best, those DJ’s who left for the Diaspora in search of advanced technological broadcasting, we are bringing them back.”

Mr Mandiwanzira said they had earmarked Zimbabwean presenters and producers in UK, SA, USA, New Zealand and Australia to join hands with the locals to give listeners real value for their time as their radio is for free.
