co-operation, Algerian Ambassador to Zimbabwe Lazhar Soualem has said.
Speaking to journalists after meeting Vice President John Nkomo yesterday, Ambassador Soualem said Algeria was exploring more areas of co-operation between the two countries.
“We have many Zimbabweans in our country under a special scholarship facility offered by the Algerian Government,” he said.
“We have a big student community in Algeria and we expect them to learn there and come back here and develop the economy. We are also looking into mining and agriculture as other areas of co-operation.”
Ambassador Soualem said he briefed VP Nkomo about the political reforms his country is implementing.
