Zim finish third in Zone VI golf

Zimbabwe has always played second fiddle to the champions and the host who beat them again last year.
The Zimbabweans finished fourth last year.
South Africa was crowned champion after amassing 20 points.
Kenya failed to defend their title after managing 19 points. The Zimbabwe Golf Association secretary Joe Sithole praised the troops who represented the nation in Kenya.
“We improved and although we could not win the tournament our game is improving considering that South Africa and Kenya have strong junior policies. South Africa’s eight players are in the top 100 of the world rankings so we stood our ground and we hope for a better outing next time,” Sithole said.
