Zim firm wins Sadc award

The election took place during a dinner hosted last week by the Angolan Ministry of Industry, in the framework of the 28th session of the  Sadc Committee on Normalisation, Quality, Accreditation and Metrology in Luanda. Angola’s soft drink company, Refriango, got the prize in the category of product of the year, while Zimbabwe’s  Chicher Slice came out the best in the better service category.

The session was attended by Sadc officials from member countries and analysed the progresses recorded in the activities of the organisation towards the progressive elimination of technical barriers in trade, including the harmonisation of the norms, regulations and procedures for evaluation of conformity in the region. — Angop.
