THE Zimbabwe senior national soccer team, the Warriors, made an insignificant rise on the world rankings, climbing from 123 to 119.
According to the Fifa/Coca-Cola World Rankings released in Zurich, Switzerland yesterday, the Warriors are also ranked 34th in Africa.
Calisto Pasuwa’s men however, are still a far cry from the brave Dream Team squad that stormed into the world’s top 50 at number 43 during the late Reinhard Fabisch’s era.

2014 World Cup quarter-finalists Algeria are the highest ranked African team in the world at number 21 while World Cup winners Germany are the world’s number one team.
