ZIMBABWE are out to keep the momentum going and maintain a fine run when they play Burkina Faso in their second Rugby Africa Cup Pool D match at Old Georgians Sports Club today.
Sable coach Brendan Dawson has made nine changes to the high riding Starting XV that overpowered the Stallions 101-03 in the first match at the same venue on Sunday and is expected to give ex-Young Sables pair of flank Sebastian Roche and inside centre Marucs Nel another run after debuting at senior level in the reverse fixture.
Dawson added that he will not risk players for today’s match.
Both the Sables and the Stallions are already through to the quarter-finals of the Rugby Africa Cup, which is the qualifying tournament for the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
Zimbabwe will play Ivory Coast while Burkina Faso face Namibia next year in the knockout phase of the competition which will also serve as the final phase of qualification.
