ZIMPAPERS Mutare branch, comprising The Manica Post and Diamond FM, is set to host the first-ever Men-to-Men Indaba on July 26, 2025, at Madziro Leisure Centre, on the outskirts of Mutare.

The groundbreaking initiative aims to promote mental health wellness among men, tackling the growing burden of non-communicable diseases and increasing cases of suicide in communities.

According to a statement released by Zimpapers Mutare, the event seeks to create a platform for men to learn, discuss, and raise awareness on mental wellness, nutrition, and networking in a relaxed environment.

“We have taken the initiative to create a platform to learn, discuss and raise awareness on mental wellness, nutrition and network among men in a relaxed environment. This is a powerful step toward addressing the growing burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and promoting holistic health in Zimbabwe. Please note that the event does not side line women as they are an integral part of men’s health. To that end, The Manica Post and Diamond FM will be hosting a Men-to-Men event on 26 July, 2025, at Madziro Leisure Centre under the theme ‘Mind, Body, Brotherhood,” reads part of the statement.

With the aid of several top notch presenters, topics to be discussed with the help of experts include increased awareness of men’s health challenges, reduced stigma surrounding men’s vulnerability, improved access to mental health and financial support services, enhanced life skills among participants and stronger community support networks for men.

Organizations and individuals are invited to participate in the event, which offers opportunities for networking, exhibiting products and services, and engaging with experts in the field.
