Motorists also complained of being penalised for late renewal.
Zinara spokesperson Mr Augustine Moyo said motorists will only be arrested or penalised from February 8 onwards.
“We have extended the licensing period to February 7. We have also informed our sole agent Zimpost not to charge motorists any penalties.
“Police should also know that they will start charging motorists for the offence from February 8,” Mr Moyo said.
