a shot in the arm as G-Tel and Priority Project Publishers partnered them to launch a primary schools soccer tournament and a competition for the best Grade Seven results.
The army’s 11 primary schools will battle in the football contest while the school that produces the best results in the Grade Seven examinations will be honoured.
The ZNA Schools Welfare Trust chairman, Sikhanyiso Ndlovu, received the donation, saying it was an investment that will nurture complete and responsible citizens.
G-Tel donated football kits and balls worth US$40 000 while Priority Project Publishers gave academic material valued at US$11 500. The primary schools that will benefit include Dzivarasekwa Barracks, Magunje, Inkomo, Ngezi, Induna, Parachute Regiment and Masvingo.
