her latest dances like table and chair routines, which were a departure from her pole dancing norm.
Interestingly, Zoey’s show came hot on the heels of her sister in the trade, Beverly Sibanda, who also caused a stir at Zimunhu Bar recently.
Zoey proved that there is so much to offer in terms of dance when she seductively moved to the beats of sungura, rhumba, dancehall, reggae and hip-hop among others, prompting the audience to ask for more.
Even show organiser Luckson Zimunhu was impressed to the extent that he announced that Zoey would be performing every week at the joint.
Zimunhu wants to organise a combined show for Zoey and Bev at the joint.
Meanwhile, sungura maestro Alick Macheso brought the roof down at Pamuzinda Highway Escape where he shared the stage with contemporary reggae musician Jah Prayzah.
A fired-up Macheso gave revellers one of his best performances since his return from the United Kingdom last month.
Jah Prayzah also gave a good account of himself.
It was also a busy weekend for Suluman Chimbetu, who, after his performance at the Heroesplush gala in Gutu, had to rush to the Food World promotion that was being held in Africa Unity Square on Saturday.
He then proceeded to a wedding later in the day before performing at Budiriro 1’s New Life Night Club on the same day.
