‘ZPC Kariba will bounce back’

ZPC Kariba skipper Tawanda Munyanduri said their defeat to FC Platinum was a setback, but will inspire them to fight even harder for the championship.
Munyanduri was the skipper as his side lost 0-2 at Mandava.

“We failed to punish them as we could not create clear chances, but we will bounce back. These are some of the things to expect in the sport so we will go back to the drawing board.

“They managed to dominate us and they utilised their chances, but we are not giving up on anything as yet,” Munyanduri said.

FC Platinum, who have been a transformed side under the guidance of Mapeza, have powered their way into the top four.

But Munyanduri said their defeat was just a setback.

“We are not giving up as yet as there are still some games to play which I believe can make the difference,” said Munyanduri.

“We are still hopeful and we will remain focused going in these last games of the season and I believe we will remain in contention.

“We have to remain focused and put this game behind our back and focus on our next encounter.

“It was not our day.”
