THE Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Service (ZPCS) National All Stakeholders Sports Conference 2026 has concluded today with a strong call for improved governance and accountability in sports management.
Speaking at the closing ceremony earlier today, ZPCS Commissioner General Moses Chihobvu said the conference must address key policy issues affecting service teams.
Commissioner Chihobvu went on to challenge the ZPCS sports administrators to urgently review and update the sports policy, focusing on compliance, ethics, governance, and athlete welfare.
Stakeholders who attended the conference praised the event, saying it was beneficial and they look forward to implementing some of the issues raised during the three-day meeting.
The conference, which started on Monday at the Zimbabwe College of Forestry and ended today, was aimed at deliberating on the future of sport within the service.
