ZPS official appears in court

Munyaradzi Kajokoto yesterday was brought to court facing charges of criminal abuse of office.
He was not asked to plead to the charges when he appeared before magistrate Mr Lazarus Murendo who remanded him to December 20 on his own recognition.
Prosecutor Ms Skhangele Mahlamvana says on December 6 at the Harare magistrate court, Kajokoto received US$30 from Jonathan Nyamayaro towards payment of his bail.
Kajokoto went on to pay the bail. The bail deposit slip number is 084478BA.
After paying the bail deposit Kajokoto went back to Nyamayaro and demanded US$50, lying that the money was for the Court 3 public prosecutor and magistrate to drop the charges against him.
He was given the money and converted it to his own use.
