The meeting is pencilled in for Saturday at the ZESA National Training Centre in the capital.
It will be preceded by an induction course that is scheduled to start tomorrow and will just before the start of the indaba.
ZPC secretary, Lewis Garaba said they are going to focus on the amendment of their constitution and restructuring of their umbrella associations.
Garaba said they will also be looking at their umbrella organisations and how they are operating.
“We are having an induction course and our annual general meeting. The induction course is set for Friday and Saturday. We will then have our annual meeting later on
Saturday and the main agenda is the constitution.
“We are going to look at our constitution and the structures of our umbrella organisations. Since we came into office last year the International Paralympic Committee have sent us some documents saying we should amend our constitution.
“Our umbrella organisations need to be restructured because we are facing some problems. We want every province to have a committee in place,” Garaba said.
Garaba said other issues to be tabled on Saturday include the Para-Athletic programme and preparations for the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
“We have a development programme we have to do next year where we are expecting an IPC expert to help our athletics coaches who work with people with different disabilities.
“We are also going to discuss about the Zimbabwe Paralympic Games and the London games, so far no one has qualified.
“There is going to be a last qualifier, the 60th International Athletics Meeting in Tunisia next year from March 22 to 29.
“This will be the last opportunity for those who failed to qualify at the All-Africa Games in Mozambique. The closing date for the qualifiers is next year April,” Garaba said.
The ZPC secretary-general said the induction course is meant to equip their staff with the proper skills in the running of the Paralympic committee.
