ZRP MORRIS coach John “Toto” Ncube is happy with the progress his men have made in the second half of the season in the Northern Region Division One Soccer League.
The police side bounced back to winning ways when they beat Lake Harvest 2-0 at Nyamhunga on Saturday with their goals coming from Elton Dzirondiro and Donald Magaisa.
Morris had a slow start to their campaign and struggled for most of the first round.
However, they came back a better side in the second half of the season and are now occupying sixth place on the log with 38 points.
From the eight games they played since the second round of the season started, they won five matches, drew once and lost twice.
Ncube said signing 10 new players at the beginning of the season was their major setback but is pleased that his team is now playing as a unit.
