ZRP Netball Club seek second win

Sports Correspondent
ZRP Bulawayo Netball Club will seek a change of fortunes when they play City of Harare in a Zimbabwe Super League match in the city today.
Last week the Bulawayo based side were beaten 39-21 by Waruwaru leaving them sitting second from the bottom of the log standings. Another defeat tomorrow will not be good for the club and the technical department needs to motivate the girls to play with a sense of self belief.
Khami Prison who won their second game of the season last week 53-31 over ZETDC Harare travel to Manicaland to face Mutare Polytechnic.
It is a game that might go either way but Khami Prison may prevail if their recent form is anything to go by.

Hwange Colliery who have been doing well under coach Janota Phiri are away to Tenax and victory is certain for the coalminers.
Another team which is doing well from Matabeleland North ZPC Hwange welcome Beta Holdings while defending champions and log leaders Nehanda Nyakasikana are inactive this weekend.

Meanwhile, the Bulawayo Netball League continues tomorrow with all the teams in action.
Early pacesetters Ntutu Sparrows entertain Zimpost while second placed ZESA play Old Nic Mine.

The league’s secretary general Sekani Dube said the games are progressing well despite starting late.
‘‘We are progressing well although we started late due to some challenges. Two teams Northlea and Induna Queens have expressed an interest to join the league but we cannot accommodate them now. ‘‘They will join next year since they came very late,’’ said Dube.
