ZIMBABWE Sevens head coach Ricky Chirengende has named a 12-man squad for the 2025 Rugby Africa Men’s Sevens Cup to be held in Mauritius from June 21–22.
The Cheetahs were drawn in Pool C alongside Tunisia, Madagascar, and hosts Mauritius.
Determined to make a strong statement as they chase continental glory and a place in global qualification pathways, the Cheetahs side is a blend of exciting youth and experience.
Zimbabwe will compete alongside eleven of Africa’s top rugby sevens nations, including South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Madagascar, Tunisia, Zambia, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, and host nation Mauritius.
The winner of the tournament will earn a coveted spot in the 2025 World Rugby Sevens Challenger Series.
