admincommunications and public relations manager Ms Marjorie Mutemererwa, said it was every child’s right to access decent education.
She said it was everyone’s responsibility to look after orphans and vulnerable children.
“We want to transform their lives because they are our future leaders who will be responsible and keen to develop the communities in which they were brought up.
“We have been raising awareness and sharing our profit with the community . . . if we ignore education the community dies, so does the nation,” said Ms Mutemererwa.
She said Seed Co’s objective was to empower and develop the future leaders of Zimbabwe through assistance to orphaned and vulnerable children in society.
“Seed Co partnered with St Manocks Schools for more than seven years and this is a mutually beneficial partnership as both parties are assisted in that Seed Co’s employees come from the Stapleford cluster and St Manocks Schools get fees and other benefits.
“We encourage school children to be career focused and the community plays a major role in selecting the disadvantaged since they are the custodians,” added Ms Mutemererwa.
