Man guns down brother over parking space

A TAFARA man yesterday shot and killed his brother in a fight over parking space.
Tendai Mungororo reportedly returned home from a funeral and found his 33-year-old brother Tichafunga’s car parked in his parking space.
According to a neighbour, an altercation ensued and Tendai allegedly hit his younger brother with an assortment of household utensils all over the body.
“Tendai’s wife could not restrain him as he was seething with anger. When Tichafunga realised the attack was escalating, he tried to escape whereupon Tendai rushed to his car, pulled a gun and shot him in the chest,” said the neighbour.
On realising what he had done, Tendai bundled Tichafunga into his car and drove him to Parirenyatwa Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The neighbour said Tendai’s wife then rushed to the Mungororo’s parents’ home in the same neighbourhood to report the incident.
