Last week the Bulawayo City Council intensified the frequency of water shedding starting today from two to three days a week. The city’s director of engineering services Engineer Simela Dube said the move was unavoidable and the situation has been worsened by the recent decommissioning of a second supply dam, Umzingwane, increased pipe bursts and residents failing to use water within rationed limits.
