‘Declare Byo water situation national disaster’

MDC-T Bulawayo province has pressurised the Minister of Water Resources Development and Management, Samuel Sipepa Nkomo to declare the water situation in the city a national disaster.

Minister Sipepa Nkomo is on record saying the Bulawayo water situation does not qualify the city to be declared a critical water shortage area.

However, faced with a state of panic, the MDC-T dominated council turned to the party leaders to find a way forward on the issue.
