VP Nkomo in stable condition

VICE President Landa John Nkomo is in a stable condition and will be returning to work soon, his family said yesterday.
In an interview, VP Nkomo’s son Jabulani said his father had taken some days off and was relaxing at home.
He castigated speculation and negative reports about VP Nkomo’s health, saying such behaviour was causing alarm in the country.
“Our father is in a steady health condition. He is ok and will be back at work soon. From a family view point we are aware that he has not been feeling well and had taken a break,” said Mr Nkomo.
“I cannot comment about his work obligations because that needs officials from Government. To us the family, Umdala is recovering very fast and is relaxing at home despite the lies that have been peddled by some people.”EDITORIAL COMMENT: It’s time for all to gear up for elections
