Midlands Bureau ChiefPOLICE have arrested Zvishavane Ward One councillor Sam Chimedza over allegations that he sold an undeveloped commercial stand to two different people.

BCC tightens water-shedding period

THE Bulawayo City Council will with effect from Monday increase the water-shedding period to four days a week in all suburbs as water levels in the remaining supply dams continue to dwindle.
For the past two months water has been cut for three days every week.
It was two days when shedding was first introduced at the end of July.
The city’s senior public relations officer, Mrs Nesisa Mpofu confirmed the development yesterday. “Bulawayo City Council wishes to advise residents and stakeholders that it will be introducing a new water-shedding schedule of 96 hours per week as from Monday.
