Ministry short of $45 million to complete PSIP projects

THE Ministry of Public Works requires about $45 million to complete some of the 550 Government projects under the Public Sector Investment Programme (PSIP).

Work on the projects has been on a standstill for the past 15 years.

Minister of Public Works Joel Gabuza Gabbuza said that an audit by his ministry revealed that 106 projects were almost 60 percent complete and require $45 million to be completed by the end of the year.
