NEW regulations requiring aspiring legislators representing political parties in general elections to submit authorisation letters from their parties giving them the right to file nomination papers with the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) will not only bring a sense of normalcy and order to electioneering but will also help nip the problem of factionalism within different parties.

The incident happened at Phakama Shopping Centre and the policeman has been identified as Constable Blessing Maminimini aged 30.
