Chronicle Reporter
AC Controls, the company that was reportedly fired from the Mtshabezi pipeline project, has had to be called back to the project after engineers who took over failed to complete it.
Sources at the pipeline said a company that had said the three generators onsite could be used without being synchronised, were forced to “eat their words” when it eventually emerged that they could not be connected directly.
“AC Controls eventually had to be recalled and they synchronised the generators, which are powering the pumps as we speak,” said one source.
Contacted for comment, AC Controls managing director Mrs Felisters Makumbinde confirmed the development.
“Yes we were recalled and we completed the synchronisation of generators, which we had stopped because our client had become impatient,” said Mrs Makumbinde.Boko Haram ‘commander’ declares ceasefire
