FORMER Highlanders player and welfare manager, Amin Soma-Phiri is in South Africa at Absa Premiership outfit, SuperSport United on a technical attachment as he seeks to bolster his coaching qualifications.
It is believed that his younger brother, Makwinji Soma-Phiri, a former Matsantsantsa player, arranged the industrial attachment with some sources indicating that the club might offer Amin a coaching role at their academy.

A former police officer from Masvingo acting in concert with his nephew allegedly robbed a foreign currency dealer of $1 500 after masquerading as serving police officers.
Charles Mupasi (25) and his nephew Lovemore Mununi (25) of Mupasi Village under Chief Munyikwa in Gutu pleaded not guilty when they jointly appeared before Masvingo provincial magistrate Ms Dorothy Mwanyisa to answer charges of impersonating police officers.

THE Senator for Beitbridge Cde Tambudzani Mohadi has called for urgent efforts to rehabilitate roads and bridges, which were recently damaged by floods.
In an interview yesterday, Senator Mohadi said the affected communities were no longer able to access key services because of the damaged road infrastructure.
