3 Days To Go: Silent Killer, Enzo Ishall, Killer T ready to Shutdown Byo

As the clock ticks down to the highly-anticipated Bulawayo Shutdown concert on December 27 the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair Grounds three of Zimbabwe’s hottest artists are gearing up to take the stage by storm.

Silent Killer, Enzo Ishall, and Killer T are all set to perform at the concert, which promises to be one of the biggest events of the year.

We caught up with the trio to talk about their preparations for the show and what fans can expect from their performances.

SILENT KILLER: THE KING OF ZIMDANCEHALL

Silent Killer is one of the most respected names in Zimbabwean dancehall. With a string of hits under his belt, including “Mumwe” and “Ndofirapo”, he’s proven himself to be a force to be reckoned with.

“I’m feeling good, I’m feeling strong,” Silent Killer told us.

“I’m always working hard in the studio, cooking up some new tracks. I’m excited to share my music with the people of Bulawayo.”

When asked what fans can expect from his performance, Silent Killer smiled mischievously.

“I’m going to bring the fire, I’m going to bring the energy. I’m going to make sure that everyone in attendance is dancing and singing along.”

ENZO ISHAL: THE NEW KING OF URBAN GROOVES

Enzo Ishall has been making waves in the Zimbabwean music scene with his unique blend of urban grooves and dancehall. With hits like “Kanjiva” and “50 Magate”, he’s proven himself to be one of the most exciting new talents in the game.

“I’m hyped, I’m excited,” Enzo Ishall told us.

“I’ve been working hard to create a set that’s going to blow people’s minds. I’m going to bring a new level of energy to the stage, and I’m going to make sure that everyone is dancing and having a good time.”

KILLER T: THE ORIGINAL ZIMDANCEHALL KING

Killer T is a legend in the Zimbabwean music scene. With a career spanning over two decades, he’s released countless hits and has performed all over the world.

“I’m feeling good, I’m feeling strong,” Killer T told us.

“I want to leave a lasting impression on the people of Bulawayo. I’m going to bring my A-game, and I’m going to make sure that everyone is entertained.”

When asked what fans can expect from his performance, Killer T said: “I’m going to bring the hits, I’m going to bring the energy. I’m going to make sure that everyone is dancing and singing along.”
