About National Tyre Services (NTS)

National Tyre Services Limited is a Zimbabwe Stock Exchange listed distributor and retailer of new tyres and tubes for the automotive industry in Zimbabwe.

Its focus is on re-lugging tyres used in the agricultural and earthmoving sector and the procurement of truck tyres for the Zimbabwe transport industry.

It offers a products range that caters for sedans, SUVs, off-road vehicles, light trucks and heavy-duty trucks and buses including popular tyre brands. Tyres sold by National Tyre Services include Dunlop, Firestone, Bridgestone, Yokohama, Pirelli, Bandag, Regal and Comforser.

Benson Philip Hlungupi Samudzimu is the company’s Managing Director since January 1, 2020, having been in charge in an acting capacity since June 2019.

Benson has served on Boards of several companies, including directorship at a subsidiary of a ZSE listed food processing entity and also as a director in other companies associated with the motor industry, engineering and mining.

Benson graduated with MSc in Business Management from the University College Cork (Ireland) and also holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Food Science and Dairy Technology (Harper Adams – UK) and City and Guilds Part III – (Mechanical Engineering – Plant Maintenance –UK).

Its service outlets deal with wheel alignment, wheel balancing, product support and inner tyre tubes.

The company has a national footprint with 12 retail outlets in major towns and cities in Zimbabwe.

The re-lugging factories are in Harare and Chiredzi and re-treading and procurement of truck tyres is done out of Harare and Bulawayo.
