Acting President Dr Constantino Chiwenga is presiding over the Inaugural Research for Agricultural Excellence Indaba that is taking place at the exhibition park as part of proceedings at the 2024 Zimbabwe Agricultural Show.
The indaba is being is being co-hosted by the Research Council of Zimbabwe and the Zimbabwe Agricultural Society.
It is running under the theme: “Research and Innovation Solutions for Sustainable Agribusiness Development”.
The objective of the indaba is to promote the practical application of research findings in support of sustainable agricultural practices and to inform policy direction in the agricultural sector.
The Acting President is also expected to tour some exhibition stands later in the day.
