A POTENTIALLY explosive Zifa Bulawayo Province Division Two encounter is on the cards this afternoon when title chasing Ajax Hotspurs visit unpredictable Zenzele Tigers at Barbourfields outside Stadium.

Ajax are third on the table having accumulated 49 points from 24 games.

Ajax Hotspurs coach, Gugulethu Dlomo, has made it clear that his charges are aiming for the title and trail table toppers Toronto by four points, making the game against Zenzele a must win tie for the Mpopoma-based outfit.

Ajax Hotspurs go into the game bubbling with confidence following an impressive 3-1 victory over Main Line. Prior to that game they had crushed Sabona Mzilikazi 3-0.

Ajax Hotspurs will be hoping to carry their free scoring form to Zenzele Tigers.

Zenzele are fifth on the table having collected 40 points from 23 games. In their last encounter they edged Arenel 1-0 away from home.

Zenzele coach, Gerion Nyathi said his side is taking this season as a learning platform since they are new boys in the league. Zenzele have had a decent season and are capable of stunning the visitors.

Zenzele will bank on the likes of Brendon Maseko and Charles Phiri while Ajax will pin their hopes on players like Clement Vheremu, Tanaka Hove and the experienced Maxwell Mburayi.

Meanwhile, Toronto will hope to maintain their one point lead at the summit of the table when they face White Birds at Marisha while second placed CIWU travel to Figtree for a tricky date against Main Line.
