The qualifiers were held over six tournaments in between July and August with the three finishing on top of the order of merit to earn their tickets to the championships.
“As an association we have put in a lot of effort to obtain the resources necessary for the team to perform well. We are confident that the team will do well as all the players are now used to this level of competition since they have played a lot of regional and international tournaments,” said the ZGA president.
Winners of the Championships will get the Eisenhower Trophy for the next two years which also include gold medals while those that will come second and third will get silver and bronze medals respectively.
