Amplifying Girls Voices through Digital Arts, a project that is under the Intwasa Arts Festival koBulawayo continues to give girls a platform to showcase their talents through film.

As part of the ongoing Amplified Film Festival, various films are being screened at different locations in Bulawayo so as to educate people on various issues.
On Wednesday, a short film titled Mlamu Wami is set to be showcased at the Salukazi Youth Centre from 1pm. The film seeks to educate people on bad cultural practices that have promoted the abuse of girls and young women.
The event is set to promote positive parenting, open communication channels on sexual and reproductive health and rights issues, as well as positively influence girls.
On Thursday, the activity will move to the Academy of Music where Date Night and A Stitch in time will be showcased from 1PM. On Friday, Amacala, a short series on child marriages and SRHR issues in Zimbabwe will be showcased at the National Art Gallery in Bulawayo from 1PM.
