ARMED robbers got away with an undisclosed amount of cash at Kamunhu Shopping Centre in Mabvuku this afternoon.
Shoppers and vendors scrambled to the ground for cover after the robbers fired a shot into the air.
They then witnessed helplessly as the robbers sped away in a car.
“They were covering their faces with balaclavas.
“We became suspicious when we saw two men with their faves covered and within a minute we heard a gunshot and the drama unfolded,” said one of the eyewitnesses.
The robbery is second targeting Mukuru money transfer agent within seven days.
