adminThe book is the 21st one to be written by the apostle who has penned a number of bestsellers like “Prayer Bullets”, “Marriage Manual”, “Winning Relationships”, “Oh Yes You Can Succeed”, “Success Secrets” and “Uncommon Woman”, among others.
The launch coincides with her ministry’s annual women’s conference to be held under the theme “Women Without Limits”, which is expected to attract women from all walks of life as well as high-powered speakers from the Sadc region.
It will start at 9am and run until 5pm.
Apostle Kanyati described the book as a “prayer manual which people will find useful throughout the whole year”.
“This book is like ‘prayer made easy’ booklet in that it teaches us how to pray effectively and how to yield results from our prayers. It is not like a textbook so much that when one is reading it, it is like they are self-treating at home without the pastor preaching to them. Going through it is like having God in the closet and talking to Him.
“2013 – Open Up for Me” is a book that when one reads it will get results from their prayer,” she said.
Some of the issues that the book addresses include prosperity, how to build and sustain strong and happy marriages, salvation and character building, through prayer.
“One of the key motives behind this book is to offer what I call ‘prayer bullets’. It is true that many people want to pray but don’t know how to pray. Sometimes they feel like they are hitting a brick wall when they don’t get what they ask through prayer.
“I have read some books that offer the theory aspect of prayer, but this has both the theory and practical sides – it is more of a more life-saving and pray along book that is spiced with prayer verses to go along with the prayer points that are offered in it,” Apostle Kanyati said.
She said she decided to pen the book after she saw the power of prayer and how it has transformed not only her life but also those of people she counselled and preached to.
“Every time I pray I see results. For instance, late last year I did aggressive night prayers and found myself going through a season of miracles and witnessed testimonies from the people I prayed for, and these are some of the things that are addressed in this book.”
Apostole Kanyati is also the leader of Zoe Life Changing Ministries and last year, she was voted as Outstanding Woman in Ministry during the Victors’ Night Awards.
