Arubi still to get work permit

his work permit which will allow him to make his competitive debut for Steve Barker’s outfit.
Arubi, who hails from Zimbabwe, is due to replace Siyabonga Mngoma between the goalposts at Tuks after the latter was sold to Arrows last month.
The University side’s assistant coach, Sammy Troughton, explained, “We’re hoping that before the Arrows game next week Wednesday that Washington’s work permit will have come through.”
Meanwhile, Troughton also confirmed that the club have acquired the services of former Maritzburg United goalkeeper, Tashrique Goldman, who they will hope will compete with Arubi for the number one spot. He said, “We’ve also signed Tashrique Goldman, he’d only trained for a week but he was on the bench for us.”
Barker’s side drew their opening PSL game 1-1 despite leading for much of the game and they will be hoping to get all three points when they face Arrows next week. — KickOff.
