BANGLADEAD SPILLS INTO BANGLADESH

H-METRO’S back-page headline, in which the newspaper described the Bangladesh cricket team as “BANGLADEAD,” was trending in the Asian country yesterday.

The country’s leading tabloid was reacting to Bangladesh’s innings defeat, in the one-off Test against Zimbabwe, inside three days at Harare Sports Club, this week.

The match ended on Tuesday.

Tabloids are known the world over for coming up with sensational headlines.

The BANGLADEAD headline, and the entire back page, was captured by the cricketangon website of Bangladesh, who ran it on their X platform.

Of course, their mood was not a happy one.
